Most committed employees work in Germany

Effectory conducts a survey amongst employees in eight European countries on an annual basis. This site gives an overview of the European work ethos in figures.
Apart from the Dutch, employees from Belgium, Germany, France, Sweden, Spain, Italy and England have contributed to the survey. The European Motivation Index® gives insight into the motivation, commitment, satisfaction and engagement of employees in these countries.
Germans most committed employees
The scores from the European Motivation Index® show that Germans are the most committed employees in Europe. Germany is the only European country that has an average score of 7,0 on commitment. Moreover, Germans, together with Belgians, are also the most satisfied employees in Europe. Both countries have an average score of 7,1 on this HR variable.
UK employees least satisfied
In contrast to Germany and Belgium, the employees in the United Kingdom are least satisfied. Their average score on general satisfaction is 6,1. The least motivated employees can be found in France, where the average score on motivation is 6,1.
